Can I make asado on the balcony?
It depends on your building rules, and on staying within ordinary neighbourly tolerance. Smoke and smell must not go past that. Lume does not change the rule: it makes fire more civil, when fire is allowed.
What if charcoal is banned?
Lume does not legalise fire. If the building forbids charcoal, this does not enable it. The note for the building says exactly that, so a chairperson can forward it without surprises.
Is it smokeless?
No. That aisle is electric plates. Lume captures smoke at the grate — charcoal included — and reduces the plume and odour leaving the balcony. We do not promise a miracle.
Do I have to drill the façade?
No. No ducts. No drilling into common structure. It is a household appliance, ordinary plug. The cook stays beside it, talking.
Does it work on a real grill?
It is built for charcoal. If it only worked on induction, it would not be Lume. Use it over your grill, on the balcony, not as a kitchen rangehood in a closed room.
What do I tell the building?
Send them the note. It is a courtesy, not a permit: what it is, what it does not promise, and that the neighbour stays a neighbour.
